# Get Perfumer Profile, Biography, and Top Creations

> GET /v1/perfumers/{slug} — Retrieve a perfumer's full profile including biography, nationality, and their highest-rated fragrance creations on Noteboxd. Costs 1¢ per call.

The perfumer profile endpoint returns biographical information about a fragrance creator alongside their highest-rated works on Noteboxd. Perfumers are the artists behind the scents, and surfacing their stories enriches fragrance content considerably — use this endpoint to build perfumer spotlight pages, add "Created by" attribution on fragrance detail views, or power explore-by-nose journeys through your catalog.

## Path Parameters

  The unique identifier for the perfumer. Obtain perfumer slugs from the universal search endpoint using `type=perfumer`. Example: `francis-kurkdjian`.

  If the `slug` does not match any known perfumer, the API returns a `404` response with error code `NOT_FOUND`. Obtain valid slugs from the universal search endpoint using `type=perfumer`.

  The `topCreations` array contains the perfumer's highest-scored works as rated by the Noteboxd community. A perfumer may have contributed to many more fragrances than are listed here — cross-reference with `GET /v1/search` using the perfumer's name for a broader view.

## Rate Limiting

Every response includes the following headers to help you track your usage:

| `X-RateLimit-Limit` | Total requests allowed in the current window |
| `X-RateLimit-Remaining` | Requests remaining before you hit the limit |
| `X-RateLimit-Reset` | Unix timestamp when the window resets |
