Get Perfumer Profile, Biography, and Top Creations

The perfumer profile endpoint returns biographical information about a fragrance creator alongside their highest-rated works on Noteboxd. Perfumers are the artists behind the scents, and surfacing their stories enriches fragrance content considerably — use this endpoint to build perfumer spotlight pages, add “Created by” attribution on fragrance detail views, or power explore-by-nose journeys through your catalog.

The unique identifier for the perfumer. Obtain perfumer slugs from the universal search endpoint using type=perfumer. Example: francis-kurkdjian.

If the slug does not match any known perfumer, the API returns a 404 response with error code NOT_FOUND. Obtain valid slugs from the universal search endpoint using type=perfumer.

The topCreations array contains the perfumer’s highest-scored works as rated by the Noteboxd community. A perfumer may have contributed to many more fragrances than are listed here — cross-reference with GET /v1/search using the perfumer’s name for a broader view.

Rate Limiting

Every response includes the following headers to help you track your usage:
